The product series BASI K6-RT is a locking system with a high level of security and practical value. It was developed in compliance with current security requirements. The K6-RT has six active tumblers, 11 lengths of inner pin and enables the use of up to five spacers. The number and construction of the tumblers yield over 100,000 practical locking variants. The master key system used overlaps the centre of the profile three times.
The key profile uses a guiding element (roll) which engages two locking elements installed in the core. These locking elements prevent the cores from being turned when the guiding element in the key is not present. The construction of the guiding element in the key completely precludes any illegitimate reproduction of the key. The construction is patentprotected (EP 1 662077 A1).
The locking cylinders of the product series BASI K6-RT are high-quality products, tested according to DIN EN 1303. The planning, development and archiving takes places according to the applicable planning and security criteria. Subsequent orders of keys are generally carried out and registered by BASI Schließsysteme. Key blanks are not put into circulation.

Rounded keyhole head:
The rounded keyhole head prevents any tools, such as pliers, from gripping the lock.
Patent protected:
Active, patented copying protection due to the guiding element in the key profile.
Locking stripes:
The locking stripes enable a significant increase in the number of variations and therefore also in the protection against lock picking with its integral feel protection.
