The locking cylinder T250 is a key notch system that
offers an extremely high level of security. It can be used in locking systems and coded single cylinders with a security identity card. The T250 has six active tumblers in the main row of pins, seven lengths of inner pin and allows the use of up to five spacers. In addition, up to five lateral pins can be used. The number of tumbler and security elements used results in over 100,000 available locking variations.
The new (up to five) locking stripes, each with three
functional positions, are transported and fixed in the functional position by a guiding groove in the key. The locking stripes enable a significant increase in the number of variations and therefore also in the protection against lock picking with its integral feel protection. The T250 can be used in a multitude of ways thanks to the high variability of the three tumbler groups. The security elements for the T250 are protected by patent law (EP 2003272).
The locking cylinders in the product series BASI T250 are high-quality products that comply with the current standards of DIN 18252 Class 40 and DIN EN 1303 Class 6 with respect to their construction. The planning, development and archiving of the locking systems and coded single locks takes place via audited computer programmes.
Keys are produced solely by BASI Schließsysteme and are registered with us. Key blanks are not put into circulation

Rounded keyhole head:
The rounded keyhole head prevents any tools, such as pliers, from gripping the lock.
Cylinder Keys:
The blanks are manufactured from nickel silver and have increased copy-protection due to additionally integrated waved lines.
Locking stripes:
The locking stripes enable a significant increase in the number of variations and therefore also in the protection against lock picking with its integral feel protection.
